About the event
During this exclusive D&D #PowerHour, you'll experience an intimate fireside chat with fellow member Alissa.
Alissa’s journey includes traveling the world as a private jet flight attendant, a life-defining hospital trip from a relationship ridden with domestic violence, bootstrapping and scaling a dream project into a profitable social enterprise, making the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and getting fired from her private jet job for pitching her company to a celebrity billionaire while on board (for the record, he was totally cool with it, but the pilot that overheard wasn't).
Most recently—and not at 35,000 ft—Alissa closed a $2M seed round for her second company, which makes biobased and biodegradable performance textiles to eradicate petroleum and microfiber pollution from the fashion industry. Despite all of her accomplishments, Alissa admits she still struggles with imposter syndrome. #RealTalk
To ensure Alissa can share openly, this call will not be recorded. You’ll need to tune in live to the conversation to experience it.
⭐️This event is moderated by Seisei Tatebe-Goddu.
